WiFi IOT lead engineer

The PortalPlayer Firmware/Software Engineering Group designs, develops and deploys state-of-the-art firmware/software and applications that support digital music devices. It is a demanding responsibility requiring hardware/software application engineering and working with multi-vendor software and hardware.

Requirements: The position requires 4 to 8 years of years of experience in related domains. The candidate should be a good team player, with good analytical and problem solving skills with positive attitude and excellent written and oral communication skills. Other requirements include:

• Very good understanding of wifi specifications, specially 802.11 MAC.
• System level understanding of wifi systems, specially wifi station sytems
• Good understanding of Wifi Allianace certification process
• Must have participated in a complete cycle of end to end wifi system testing, preferably on a product available in market
• Should have wide exposure to wifi certification testing
• Should have participated in test automation activities for wifi
• Should know various test tools like Chariot, Airopeek and Litepoint
• Knowing some automation scripting language is a plus
• Exposure to Bluetooth coexistence and coexistence with other wireless systems is a plus
• Exposure to other wireless technologies is a plus
